Lotions are among the most frequently used cosmetic products<\/a>. They are more fluid than creams<\/a> and contain more water. Since they contain water, fats and oils, finely distributed emulsions are formed during manufacture. Hydrophobic and hydrophilic lotions<\/h2>

A lotion<\/a> is a multi-phase preparation. Depending on the recipe, it has different properties:<\/p>

Hydrophobic<\/h3>

These products repel water, are very greasy and cannot be washed off. Water, oil and wax have different viscosities.<\/p><\/div>

Hydrophilic<\/h3>

They are less greasy, spread easily and can be washed off. This requires very fine emulsions<\/a>, so that the active ingredients work well.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
