It should also foam and be insensitive to hard water. We design and supply plants that enable you to manufacture shampoo in batches or continuously. More on this under <a href=\"\/en\/cosmetics\/\">Cosmetics<\/a>.<\/p><div class=\"svt-ptiles\"><div class=\"svt-ptile\"><i class=\"fa fa-bullseye\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><strong>Mixing in the shear gap<\/strong><span>Surfactants do not form lumps.<\/span><\/div><div class=\"svt-ptile\"><i class=\"fa fa-compress\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><strong>Vacuum-resistant<\/strong><span>No unwanted foaming in the process.<\/span><\/div><div class=\"svt-ptile\"><i class=\"fa fa-exchange\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><strong>Batch or inline<\/strong><span>Depending on requirements and process.<\/span><\/div><\/div><h2>Properties and ingredients<\/h2><p>Shampoo is usually creamy or liquid and generally perfumed. This <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shampoo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hair cleanser<\/a> comes as both conventional products and natural cosmetics. The pH value is usually slightly acidic to neutral, i.e. around 5 to 7. Water and surfactants are almost always included. Depending on the recipe, the following are added:<\/p><ul class=\"svt-tags\"><li>Co-surfactants<\/li><li>Complexing agents<\/li><li>Film formers<\/li><li>Preservatives<\/li><li>Perfume oils<\/li><li>Colourants<\/li><li>Buffers<\/li><li>UV absorbers<\/li><\/ul><h2>Incorporating surfactants without lumps<\/h2><p>Modern agitators bring water and surfactants such as ether sulphate together in the hot-cold process at room temperature directly in the shear gap of the homogeniser. As a result, the ether sulphate does not come into contact with water beforehand in undissolved form. Otherwise, gel lumps form that are difficult to dissolve again.<\/p><h2>Requirements for the plant<\/h2><ul class=\"svt-checks\"><li>Bringing water and surfactants together directly in the shear gap<\/li><li>Control of the pH value during production<\/li><li>Pressure- and vacuum-resistant design so that no foam forms<\/li><li>Integrated <a href=\"\/cip-sip-systeme\/\">CIP system<\/a> for short cleaning times<\/li><li>Batch operation or continuous production with pumps and inline homogenisers, see <a href=\"\/en\/homogenisation\/\">homogenising<\/a><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"svt-knote\">Similar plants are also suitable for <a href=\"\/en\/hair-conditioner\/\">hair conditioner<\/a> and <a href=\"\/en\/shower-gels\/\">shower gels<\/a>.
